About this salon
Selfish Spitalfields is the quieter of the two Selfish nail salons in east London, on Toynbee Street near Old Spitalfields Market, a few minutes' walk from Aldgate East and under ten from Liverpool Street. Every manicure starts with dry e-file cuticle work, the Ukrainian technique the artists are trained in, and finishes with a choice of more than 600 colours. Every product used is vegan.
The menu covers BIAB new sets and infills, gel manicures, Manucurist Paris hybrid polish, and three extension systems: Gel-X soft gel tips for short to medium lengths, sculpted sets built on a form with no tip, and acrygel for serious length. Pedicures come dry or full, finished in gel, hybrid polish or a no-polish Japanese clay buff. Nail art runs from French tips through hand-painted, Korean-style, chrome and 3D designs.
Open Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. The sister salon, Selfish Shoreditch, is on French Place behind Great Eastern Street and runs the same menu.
